So I was listening to The World's Technology Podcast the other day and he talked about this group called LibriVox that was working on making free AudioBooks out of literary works that were in the public domain, such as those from Project Gutenberg.

It sounded cool and I had talked to my sister about possibly wanting to do something like that myself, so I decided to try it. I had some gift cert money over @ Amazon so I decided to pick up a USB headset & give it a go. I picked the Plantronics GameCom Pro 1 PC Gaming Headset, mainly because it was cheaper than the Plantronics DSP-500, yet seemed to be identical, just without a CD containing software I had no use for. It also helped that it was in stock, unlike the DSP-500 and the Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 I was originally considering. The headset is great by the way.

For my first try I decided to contribute to the weekly poetry selection for this week. It is Mother Night by James Weldon Johnson.
