Israel (In the middle) invited me to tag along with him & a bunch of other friends to Lake Lewisville to hang out on another friend’s boat, to be followed by his pool & barbecue & fireworks. I took Steve with me & we both managed to spend many hours at the lake and come home without a sunburn. I also took lots of random photos of drunks on boats, clouds & general scenery.
It got interesting toward the end, the wind really picked up & started blowing all these various flotillas of boats toward us in the cove. It made for an amusing scramble as people tried to get back to their boats to try to get them heading back the other direction. The crowd pretty much dispersed at that point.
After the lake we hung out at Bart’s in the pool & watched the fireworks & ate stuff from the grill. A pretty good time was had by all.
On the trip home we had a bit more drama, that I think I’ll put in another post…
