So … this is the post I alluded to at the end of this.
On the way back from Lewisville we were cruising along in the left lane and a dog who had managed to make it across the other 2 lanes ran into my lane. I swerved left, but didn’t miss it. I am guessing it didn’t feel much since it looks like I probably hit it in the head with the passenger headlight. At at least 60 miles per hour. Poor dog. It was probably in the 40-50 pound range. Grey I think.
We just missed the next exit, so I had to limp along making odd noises to the next one. I took these pics before banging on the fender to get the car drivable again.
