My blog (particularly the blogroll over on the right called Wanderings…) is now XFN enabled. I ran across XFN via Wired yesterday (I got an 11). Followed that to google’s Social Graph API. (By the way, I’m tempted to list Brad Fitzpatrick in the little video as a crush … he’s pretty cute.
) They have some little demo apps that you can use to see how things are connected & I found I wasn’t.
So last night I added tags to some random posts, but doing that when I post will be tough to remember. I also tried added the tags to the links in the blogroll manually. No go. Makes for an invalid link. So today I wandered over to the b2evo download page & did a little search for XFN. Perfect, a plugin to do exactly what I want. ![]()
Now I’ll have to go check my Internet Celebrity Score again after google has spidered me again. ![]()
The real reason for XFN is of course to allow you to find existing friends on new networks. & once supported by more platforms it should work well for that.
