This site is just too much fun to play with. The audio & visuals are great. In general I’m not a huge fan of Flash sites, because all too often they either do things that didn’t require Flash and therefore unnecessarily restrict access from platforms without Flash or from users with disabilities. This site, however makes it worth it.

I really like the use of the colorful background that really reflects the artist’s work. Then on top of this background is an incredibly well organized site, including a thorough and organized portfolio.

Wow. I want this. It’s a pretty cool interface when used on a small scale as in the iPhone, but on this scale it is simply amazing. The original research project at NYU was spun off into a company called Perceptive Pixel. I have to wonder what kind of processing power was behind the displays in the video.
